I am BOTH for strengthening the economy AND for the American family
We need to continue to strengthen investments by lowering or eliminating the tax on
dividends and capital gains. We need to also encourage savings by allowing the taxpayer
to earn up to $250.00 of interest tax free.
Now, this may seem a little counterintuitive to many. But, moves such as these will
encourage individuals to save.
Additionally, it will help to move from a dependency on the broken social security system.
I am BOTH for fair trade AND for the American Worker
This would be done by changing the treatment of import taxation of products made by US
corporations overseas to be equal to the tax of foreign countries shipping products into the
United States.
This will help to level the playing field for the American workers. The benefit to the
worker is that a corporation will not be unjustly rewarded for moving jobs to a lower labor
market.
